For the upcoming semesters, this priority package would be applied for students who apply for TL Stiftung Scholarship during Exchange semester at ESB School of Business, Reutlingen University.
1) Scholarship value: €4000
2) Target candidates:
Applicants should be in the second or third year (not first or fourth year) at the university.
Applicants with financial difficulties who are interested in applying for an exchange semester at ESB Business School and cannot afford it.
3) Eligibility:
Candidates should demonstrate a level of proficiency in English and have a suitable GPA:
· Proof of language proficiency include test scores of 6.0 and above in IELTS and a minimum of 750 points in TOEIC or equivalent certification.
· Have an overall GPA above 7.5 with no course under 6.0 (Physical training, Military Education or Political courses are not counted)
· References from professors would raise your chances of being invited to an interview
4) Application process:
· Step 1: You must be nominated as an exchange student to ESB Business School by International Student Service Center.
Deadline for Winter Semester application: March 5th
Deadline for Summer Semester application: August 20th
· Step 2: Once you have been nominated, you would receive an email from exchange coordinator at Reutlingen University including a link for online application on MoveON
· Step 3: Submit all the required documents up on the online system.
· Step 4:
Once your application has been completed and accepted, ISSC will provide you with additional information about housing, available courses, important dates, etc. and send you a letter of acceptance in case you need to apply for a Visa.
Note: Should your application be successful, you will need to enroll in at least 3 courses as well as an additional German course.
5) Application package:
· A CV (in German or English)
· Your latest transcript of records
· Motivational letter (Clearly indicate you need financial support)
· A certificate of enrolment (in German or English): confirmation of your home university that you are enrolled at your home university during your exchange period incl. the study program in which you are enrolled
· A proof of health insurance: you need to hand in a document showing that you have a valid health insurance for your study abroad period in Germany. Please note: German universities can only accept private health insurances if they include unlimited coverage for the costs of medical treatments (both for ambulant and for hospital treatments)!! If this is not the case you will need to purchase a German health insurance for your study abroad period. Non-EU citizens should upload a certificate or a copy of the card of their health insurance provider
EU citizens may hand in a copy of their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
· A copy of your passport
· A passport picture (preferably 300x400 pixels)
6) Application deadlines:
Applications for this TL Stiftung Scholarship should be submitted simultaneously with the application for exchange semester exchange at ESB School to ISSC (Room A2.604)
before March 5th for Winter Semester and
before August 20th for Summer Semester.
