Aquatic Resource Management program
Department of Aquaculture Science is currently belonged to the School of Biotechnology - International University. This is a unit with strong potential for training, scientific research and technology transfer. The training quality of Department of Biotechnology has been accredited by ASEAN Universities Network and numerous leading partner universities in UK, Australia and Europe through its highly globalized training programs, 16-modern-laboratory system and professional staff (96% of the faculty have Doctoral qualifications from foreign countries). School of Biotechnology now has more than 1,300 undergraduate and graduate students. The number of students enrolled at the School has rose steadily, by 10-15% each year. School of Biotechnology is the unit of Vietnam National University - HCMC that has continuously taken the lead in scientific publications on international journals. Over 85% of graduates have appropriate jobs at many state or foreign institutes, companies after 6 months. Among these, over 20% achieve postgraduate scholarships at well-known oversea universities or work at research institutes and universities.
