On Monday, 22 Jan 2018, International University has become the first member university of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City to have a master program to get accredited by the ASEAN University Network - AUN-QA.
Assoc. Prof. Nantana Gajaseni, acting Chairman of the AUN-QA Council, previously has awarded the accreditation certificate at institutional level to a member university of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) (University of Technology) and 09 accreditation certificates at program level in 2016 to the members of VNU-HCM. Among them, the master degree of Biotechnology, which is under management of the School of Biotechnology at International University, has become the first at master level to gain the certificate of quality accreditation by AUN.
In late 2017, International University also apply for the accreditation of two other programs: Bachelor Degree in Food Technology and Master Degree in Industrial Systems and Engineering, which are both highly evaluated. Besides, the university also successfully passed the renewal process of accreditation for three other training programs.
After 14 years of development, the International University has become one of the most prestigious universities in the higher education system in Vietnam with 9 training programs accredited by ASEAN University Network - AUN-QA. In 2016, the university became the first institution in the South of Vietnam to be get the certificate of the Ministry of Education and Training on training quality.
